This choker is stunning in its simplicity. The fine strand of wire disappears against the skin leaving the sparkling crystals and freshwater pearls to add the finishing touch to any gown.

The freshwater pearls are often substituted for trios of tiny pearl beads and the clear flower shaped crystals for ones with a rhinestone finish giving the necklace a more formal effect.

Please Note: The reasons I choose to use base metal wire to construct this piece are that the color being darker helps the wire to "disappear" against the skin. Sterling silver is available but not recommended as it tarnishes too easily.
