Cheongsam Accessories

In Chinese wedding ceremonies the traditional gown worn by the bride is called a cheongsam. Here in America many of my Chinese-American brides often wear both: A traditional white western wedding gown for the marriage ceremony and will change into her cheongsam later for a second traditional Chinese ceremony or for her reception.

These beaded flowers were created to perfectly complement the multicolored flower pattern on this bride's cheongsam.

The picture at left was taken before the flowers and branches were attached to individual hair pins.
