Cake Topper FAQ's

How many ornaments should I have? My recommendation for an average 3 tiered wedding cake is a minimum of 5 to 6 ornaments. If you are using 1 or 2 colors choose at least 5 ornaments. If you are using 3 or 4 colors choose 6 ornaments or more.

What are the embellishments I see on the price list? Embellishments are the small details that aren't suspended on the end of the wires. Most clients choose two of the small beaded flowers one is usually attached somewhere in the middle of a spiral, and the other towards the base or the crystal branches which look best in sets of 3 clustered at the base of the topper.

How does the topper stand on the cake? The topper is constructed of wire with a long straight section of wire usually 4 inches long that is pushed down into the center of the cake. That is all that is necessary to hold the topper in place as they are incredibly light weight.

Can I display my topper after my wedding? Yes you can. If you send back your topper after your wedding I can, for a nominal fee, fit it to a small Lucite base which will convert it into a small table top sculpture.

How to Order a Cake Topper

Please be aware that because I do all of my own designing and production work, I am limited to the number of clients I am able to work with each year. Most custom designs are available only by private consultation at my San Jose, CA design studio.

For now, please describe the color(s) you are interested in.

6. Do you want the wires to spiral?
